JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Waves are proud to announce that guard Taylor Soule has earned the UPSHOT League’s first-ever Sixth Woman Award as the best-performing substitute player who comes off the bench rather than starting.
Soule, a native of Lebanon, New Hampshire, starred in 32 games for the Waves this year, averaging 7.1 points per game, 3.3 rebounds and nearly 17 minutes per contest. Soule shot 49.7 percent from the field this year and was 76.2 percent from the free throw line. The 5’11 Virginia Tech alumnus is the first-ever Sixth Woman award winner in UPSHOT’s history.
