JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Waves are proud to announce that guards Ariel Hearn and Rennia Davis have both earned All-UPSHOT Team Honors for their performance this season. They are a part of the first All-UPSHOT Team in the league’s history.
Hearn, a native of Memphis, Tennessee, averaged 15.1 points per game which ranked fourth in the UPSHOT League. She also averaged three assists and 1.6 steals per game (ranked 4th and 3rd in UPSHOT respectively). Hearn played an average of 30.6 minutes per game while shooting 47.1% from the field and 34.6% from three. Hearn earned three double doubles over 34 games played this season.
Davis, a Jacksonville, Florida native, averaged 13.8 points per game while contributing an average of 7.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists while averaging 25.7 minutes per game this year for the Waves. Davis starred in 33 games this season for Jacksonville while shooting 55.4 percent from the field and 23.3 percent from behind the arc.
